Admissions

[Early Years Area]

Parents are invited to contact the school to make arrangements to speak to the Headteacher and be shown around the school.

Our school policy is to admit 4 year olds into school in the Autumn of the academic year in which they will be 5.

At the beginning of each academic year we admit Spring and Summer born children, as well as Autumn born children. All children have the opportunity to start full time in the Autumn Term but may also start on a part time basis with a gradual build up to a full day.

This arrangement is of course flexible and the views of the parents alongside the professional judgement of the Headteacher will be taken into account when discussing the needs of individual children. The time of admission will not affect the written offer of a place at the school.

Applications for admission should be made at the beginning of the school year prior to the school year in which the child is due to start. Click here for the 2010 Admission Policy and Supplementary Information Form.
